Nya Bowman ​AGMA/AEA

With a wide variety of dance education and artistic development, Nya teaches Martha Graham Technique, Improvisation, Movement for Actors, and Dance Composition. It is important to Nya to engage the student’s imagination to fully express and create her student’s artistry. Nya blends humor and imagery to keep participants engaged and encouraged. In Fall 2017, Nya had the honor to assist Bessie Award winner Miki Orihara in staging Martha Graham’s Dark Meadow on students at Rutgers University that was performed at Joyce Theater, NYC.
